Last updated: August 28, 2026

PopcornPact ("PopcornPact", "we", "us") is a movie-matching app that helps you and your friends find something to watch together. This policy explains what information PopcornPact collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. PopcornPact is currently developed and operated by an independent developer, not a company.

Information we collect

What's collected depends on how you sign in:

How we use your information

When you match with a friend, only the movies you both independently marked "want to watch" are shown to each other. Your full swipe history, seen list, and pass list are never visible to anyone but you.

Third-party services

Beyond what's listed above, PopcornPact does not use third-party analytics. We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on PopcornPact's own server infrastructure, not a third-party cloud data broker. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but as with any online service, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Your choices

Children's privacy

PopcornPact is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of PopcornPact after a change means you accept the updated policy.
